PASSIVE COMMERCIAL REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM
The main image displayed is on the 20″x4.5″ unit and the 2nd and 3rd images show the smaller 10″x4.5″ housings and filters.
Our range of passive RO units for commercial applications are designed to operate at town water pressure. These systems don’t require power as they have no pumps or electronic controls. This RO unit is assembled and tested in our Queensland factory before shipping to ensure proper operation.
The reverse osmosis process results in the total dissolved solids (TDS) count dropping by between 85% and 95% depending on environmental factors and system design. This purification process is commonly considered to be the most effective method of purification available, and will consistently produce water with the lowest level of contaminant. Where water of a higher standard (99-100% contaminant reduction) is required, Mixed resin post filters may be fitted on request for an extra charge.
This system will produce up to 1,500 litres per day with optimum feed water pressure, local water pressure and quality of the feed water can cause this estimate to vary but typical production rates are usually between 750-1500L/day.
This unit is tested on a town water supply, if you plan to use this unit on any other kind of supply (Bore, creek, tank etc.) we strongly recommend performing basic water tests (TDS, Salinity, Hardness/Calcium and Iron) to determine whether the water is within the systems operating parameters. If you are unsure as to whether this unit suits your needs, feel free to send us a message with any details you have on your water.
All of the parts that come into contact with the water in our systems are manufactured from BPA free food grade plastics. All of the filters and parts that we source are of the highest quality and meet the required quality standards.
This system can be optioned with either 10 inch or 20 inch pre-filters. The 20 inch filters are capable of filtering roughly twice as much water between filter changes.
